Urban Adventure Race Partner
Win or loose, there is one thing for certain in every High Trek Adventure no matter if you’re partaking in our urban race in Atlanta, Dallas or Los Angeles you’ll need a race partner. Now before you hastily ask you significant other you need to ask yourself, “do I really want to win?” Or better yet, “will I be ok if I loose?” If you answer yes to the latter, then next you need to see if your race partner is ok with a loss.
Now I don’t want you to put thoughts in you head that you’re going to loose, but I don’t want High Trek Adventure be the rift between you and a loved one. (This definately needs to be stated, as many people are ultra competitive.)
We’ve also brought people together. This past July our unique adventure race brought us to Seattle. The day was beautiful, the race was amazing and in the process we brought two souls together: Emily Cangie and Craig Whitmer. It was there first date! They both agreed there would be a second. Hopefully there are still together. Emily and Craig, are you still going strong? If they are then folks if they can make it you can make it and if there not, then at least they had a great date (we’ll take credit)!
If I were you here are some qualities and characteristics I’d want in a race partner:
1. Quicker thinker
2. Great sense of direction
3. Extrovert (you might need to ask strangers for help or more)
4. Jocular
What characteristics would you like to see in your urban adventure race partner? I’d love to hear from you.
