New Year’s Resolution

It’s that time again. Time to over promise to yourself only to bail on yourself just a few weeks later. Yup, I’m talking about making New Year’s resolutions. I usually make ‘em and brake ‘em. But this year it’s going to be different.
Here’s a list of the most common NYRs:
- Lose Weight <–this is mine
- Gain Weight
- Get out of Debt
- Save Money
- Get a Better Job
- Get Fit
- Eat Right
- Get a Better Education
- Drink less Alcohol
- Quit Smoking
- Reduce Stress
- Take a Trip
- Volunteer to Help Others
- Be Less Grumpy
- Be more independent
I want to help you stay on track whether you’re trying to loose weight to get in shape for your favorite Los Angeles urban adventure race (early registration ends today *hint*hint*) or you want to get a better handle on your finances I’ve found some helpful tips (see below).
Stick to it
Experts say it takes about 21 days for a new activity, such as exercising, to become a habit, and 6 months for it to become part of your personality. Your new healthful habits will become second-nature in no time.
I thought the “Stick to it” was the most worthy to post, but if you’d like to read more on this article go here.
