The Death Race

For the last three years Pittsfield, Vermont has been the site of one of the craziest, most outlandish 24 hour adventure races. The Website says, “you can expect barbed wire, mud boggin, wood choppin, tunnels, deep water diving, running, crawling, crying, screaming, and sweating. Doubtful you’ll finish but be proud of yourself for trying. 24 hours time limit to finish. Cut off times for tasks.”
Think of this grueling adventure race as “Survivor” meets “Jackass.” The field is very small and only ten percent will actually complete the race. In 2008 only 39 participants, nine finished. In 2009 49 participants competed.

Our next non-death race is in Seattle on July 18th.
