Back to school

We’ve all been the new kid on the block (you gotta hang tough, sorry) at some point in our lives. I’ve moved completely on my own to multiple places (Boston, Augusta, GA, Sarasota and St. Pete) all without the safety of an umbilical cord. The scariest NKOTB moment for me was moving to Rochester, NY and entering the 8th grade (I still remember my mom walking me to my homeroom…I didn’t know a soul).

The Joliet Township High School District new teachers don’t get the 10¢ tour of there surroundings. Nooo way! These school leaders compete in a scavenger hunt to learn the lay of the land finding the fastest copier, where to get their paycheck and the form they need to fill out for a personal day.
