Music is not the only thing that rocks in Austin… so do the nearly 200 CitySolve Urban Racers! From grannies to staches the old and hairy had a great time.
Kicking off at high noon, many CitySolvers bolted out of Aussie’s parking lot with visions of Miami on their minds while others casually cruised to get their clue packet. Either way, the racers had a great time. Teams found the new Bill and Melinda Gates building on UT’s campus (it’s still in construction), played corn hole (sponsored by Yelp.com) at The Dog & Duck Pub, help keep Austin’s streets clean by collecting recyclable materials then dropping them off at Ecology Action. (If you haven’t been to Ecology Action you gotta go. It’s a super rad recycling center in the heart of Austin: East 9th Street and I-35, to be exact).
The winning team, Thunder Up, blazed the course in 1:43:15 beating over 8 minutes. Nice work, gang. You should take your talents to South Beach. You know CitySolve and LeBron will be there.
